I can’t even begin to convey how important stretching is, and I know that you’ve heard it all before, we need more stretching in our lives.

It helps your muscles recover faster, you feel more relaxed, your sleep improves, cortisol lowers which means you can handle more stress in your life.

Consistency with anything is the key. You won’t see changes if you don’t stick with it.

For this stretching challenge, all you need is 20 minutes each day for 21 days.

You won’t regret the time spent on this one.

Just remember to put the time in each day and do your best. Don’t focus on how far you have to go from where you are starting.

Embrace where you are and enjoy the time you are taking for yourself, for your mind and body.

A little Study on Stretching For Good Measure

Static stretching is effective at increasing ROM. The greatest change in ROM with a static stretch occurs between 15 and 30 seconds;13,14 most authors suggest that 10 to 30 seconds is sufficient for increasing flexibility.1417 In addition, no increase in muscle elongation occurs after 2 to 4 repetitions.18
